Day 1: From Kampala, Transfer to Ziwa Rhinos sanctuary to Murchison falls national
park.

After an early breakfast in Kampala, you will embark on a scenic drive northwards to Murchison Falls National Park. En route, you will make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where rhinos can be seen in their natural habitat. Enjoy an exciting guided rhino tracking experience on foot before continuing your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, you will visit the top of the magnificent Murchison Falls, where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging 43 meters below, creating a spectacular sight and unforgettable experience.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise at the Nile delta.

Enjoy an exciting game drive through the vast savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park, home to elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and many other wildlife species. The adventure is complemented by a scenic boat cruise to the Nile Delta, one of the park’s most rewarding wildlife-viewing areas. Along the way, you may spot large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants along the riverbanks, and a remarkable variety of birdlife, including the elusive shoebill stork. Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi community.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park.

Today, our guests transferred to the breathtaking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The scenic journey took them through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, rolling hills, and vibrant local communities. Excitement is building as they prepare for the unforgettable experience of gorilla trekking in one of Africa’s most remarkable rainforests.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi Island.

After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the forest for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, you will hike through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once found, you will spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, watching them feed, play, and interact with one another.
After the trek and lunch, you will transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa” because of its breathtaking scenery.
