3-DAY CHIMPANZEE AND GORILLA TREKKING EXPERIENCE
This is a brief excursion designed solely to see the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southern Uganda. You’ll be staying in simple lodges with private toilets and hot running water showers. It is an ideal vacation for last-minute travelers as well as budget travelers looking to combine a gorilla experience with a normal East African wildlife safari.
Day 1: Pick Up from Kampala and Transfer to Kibale forest National park
After breakfast, you will meet our team dressed in the Amakula African Safaris uniform for a meet and greet. We shall ensure that all your property is safely parked in the car to start off the journey. Our driver guide shall give you a brief of how the trip will be conducted up to the last day when we see you off at the airport. At 5.30am you will then start off the trip to Kibale forest national park. On the way you shall have numerous stop overs to let nature perform by us visiting safe toilets, take pictures and a safe place for us to catch lunch if we must. When we reach Kibale, you shall be taken to the briefing center where you shall have briefing, given a ranger guide who will take you to the forest to truck the primates. Immediately after finishing the tracking, you shall be transferred to Bwindi Forest impenetrable national park in your accommodation facility to rest and get prepared you’re your next day`s gorilla trekking activity.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Safari and resting
Eat breakfast first thing in the morning. Then, bring your packed lunch to the park headquarters for a briefing from park officials. You and your guides will hike through thick creepers and undergrowth to find the gorillas, which could take up to three-quarters of the day. The heavily forested area is extremely dense, although it is crisscrossed by numerous animal pathways that allow tourists access. One hour with the gorillas is allotted for photography and observation while they play, feed, and groom. After the activity, we shall transfer to back to our lodge for dinner and your overnight stay will be at the same location.

Day 3: Transfer Back to Kampala
