3 Days of gorilla trekking safari in Uganda. This is a short trip organized only to visit the mountain gorillas found in the South Western Park of Uganda, Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park. It is selected with basic lodges included inside a private toilet, private shower with hot running water. It is a perfect trip for last minute travelers and also travelers on a tight budget seeking to combine a gorilla experience with a typical wildlife safari in East Africa.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Bwindi forest

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Our guide will pick you at your hotel after breakfast, and then depart from Entebbe\Kampala by road and head southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Have a stopover for some informative talk and a splendid photographic opportunity at the Equator and then continue to Mbarara town for Lunch. Travel through the rolling green hills of Banana and Tea plantations and head to the National Park.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking safari

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Early morning, breakfast with your packed lunch, you will report to the Park headquarters for the briefing from the park officials. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. 1 hour is allowed with the gorillas for photography and observation as they paly, feed and groom.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala

Kampala After an early morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala\ Entebbe International Airport for your flights out later in the evening. This day is reserved evening flights through Entebbe International airport or a post night to be organised in either Kampala or Entebbe. If you request a post – night, please let us know in advance.
