Day-1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your safari starts with a pick-up at 7:30am from your Nairobi hotel or airport, from where you will drive to Amboseli National Park. You arrive in Amboseli shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, enjoy a hot lunch and rest before the afternoon game drive. At 4:00pm, depart for the afternoon game drive. The highlight here is that Amboseli National Park has the greatest concentration of elephants in the world! The park is home to over 1600 elephants from 56 different families. Each of the elephants has a name and a photo attached to its name. After the game drive, we will return to the lodge/camp, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner. Your overnight stay will be at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day-2: Game Drives in Amboseli National Park

Have breakfast then prepare to go for the full day game drive. You will have picnic lunch in the afternoon within the national Park with great views around you. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, which are often seen against the backdrop of the snow-capped mountain. The park’s diverse ecosystems, including wetlands, savannah, and acacia woodlands, provide excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and game viewing, making it a must-visit destination for safari enthusiasts.

You will later in the evening go back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha via Hells Gate

Have breakfast and then head for Naivasha. You will get to stop at the rift valley view point for a scenic photo session, later head to lake Naivasha. You will be dropped off at the hotel check in and then head for lunch. After lunch you will then head out for a Boat ride in Lake Naivasha followed by a walking safari in the animal sanctuary as the evening heat from the sun has come down. Here you get a one on one encounter with animals like giraffes and zebras, you can almost touch them. You will later head to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National park via Hells Gate

Have breakfast at Lake Naivasha then head out to Hells Gate National Park. Later spend the night at Ziwa Bush Lodge. Hell’s Gate National Park, located in Kenya’s Rift Valley near Lake Naivasha, is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, including towering cliffs, geothermal springs, and the striking Hell’s Gate Gorge. Unlike most national parks, it offers a more interactive experience where visitors can explore on foot, by bicycle, or through rock climbing. The park is home to diverse wildlife, such as zebras, giraffes, and various bird species, though it lacks large predators. Its unique scenery has inspired popular culture, notably serving as a setting for Disney’s “The Lion King.”

Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve

Have breakfast then head out for a morning game drive at Lake Nakuru until Midday. This is heaven for the bird photographers as there is a very wide variety the birds. There are tree climbing lions, rhinos, Rothchilds giraffes and not to forget what makes it the pink lake the Flamingoes.

Later in the day after having lunch and having an incredible game drive, you will drive of to Masai Mara National Reserve. Have an evening nature walk with very rich views of flora and fauna alongside your guide to accompany you. You can also explore visiting the Masai Village to experience their culture and norms. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: More Safari Game Drives

Today’s itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide and plan for the day’s schedule. Youcan have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around the park at 6:30 am with your picnic lunch. This will give you a chance to visit the Mara River where the migration happens during it’s time. Also, you’ll have better chances to view wildlife all day and return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya. There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife including the Big Five and a rich cultural heritage to explore. Day 1: Pick Up and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park Via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

On this 1st day, you will be met by your guide/driver around Entebbe Airport and you will hit the road to Murchison Falls. The highlights of this park include; the roaring rapids of the Murchison, the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park where you will have the chance of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants. Then surely you will be fascinated by the concentration of hippos and Nile crocodiles here. For birders, Murchison Falls boasts 450 bird species including the elusive shoebill stork, dwarf king fisher, the white-thigh hornbill, and the Goliath heron among others. En-route, make a detour visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. You will have at least one hour of rhino tracking while here. Another stop will be in Masindi in order to enjoy your lunch. Continue to the park and check into your accommodation to relax for the evening.

Day 2: Murchison Falls Game Drive and Launch/Boat Trip to the Base of the Falls

Have your breakfast and then depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park. Here you will have the opportunity of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants. For any birder, this area supports the secretary bird, and black-chested snake eagle to name a few. Return to your accommodation for lunch. After lunch, you will head out for the boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls where you will also be able to catch sight of more animals including hippos, crocodiles and several water birds. Continue with a hike (if you like) to the top of the falls. The hike may be a strenuous one but the thrill of reaching the top is breathtaking. Miss it only if you must. After the hike, you will have an evening game drive on your way to the lodge. Return to your accommodation and have a relaxed evening.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Start the day with a morning game drive to spot any wildlife you might have missed the previous day. Afterward, you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park, known for its population of chimpanzees. You will check in freshen up then later you will go for a walk in Bigodi Swamp, it is rich in biodiversity and scenic in beauty. This wonderful place shelters over 200 species of birds including Hornbills, Turacos, Parrots, Cranes, Kingfishers and many more swamp endemics. Furthermore, the sanctuary is the home of 8 species of primates, including the Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest Monkey, Vervet Monkey and the Blue Monkey.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the morning, you will go on a chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale Forest. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will trek through the forest in search of habituated chimpanzee groups. Once you find them, you will spend a memorable hour observing and learning about these fascinating primates. Afterward, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On this day, you will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime experience of mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a briefing by the park rangers, you will set off into the forest in small groups to track and observe one of the habituated gorilla families. The trek can vary in duration and difficulty depending on the gorilla group’s location, but once you find them, you will spend an unforgettable hour in their presence, observing their behavior and capturing memories through photographs. This is a truly magical and humbling experience, as you witness these incredible creatures in their natural habitat and after you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi green and lush terraced hills that are punctuated with a plethora of over 200 bird species. The place combines the art of water birds and some migratory birds. This makes it a perfect ideal for many bird enthusiasts. A dive into the Nyombi swamp reveals a variety of assorted birds.

Your guide will ensure that you reach the airport in time for your scheduled departure, marking the end of your 7-day Uganda safari.
