Not only Murchison Falls National Park being Uganda’s oldest and largest national park it is the home to a wide range of wildlife animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, Nile crocodiles, several antelope species, many primates like chimpanzees, and many others, which makes it one of Africa’s best destinations for wildlife encounter safaris. On this tour, you will go on game drives and take a boat cruise.

Day 1: Kampala City -Drive to Murchison falls national park – Visit the Murchison fall

In the morning, you will meet our safari guide driver for a meet and greet, be briefed about the tour, and then start your safari to Murchison Falls National Park, found in north-western Uganda. proceed to the park with another stopover at Kabalega diner to have lunch. You will reach the park in the late afternoon to visit the Murchison Falls and enjoy the great views and sounds of the falls as the river Nile squeezes itself through the narrow gorge only 7 meters wide and then drops 43 meters into a pool that creates a strong and thunderous sound. The park is known as the source of happiness for nature lovers, after a visit to the falls, drive to check in at your booked lodge to refresh, and then spend the evening at leisure till it’s time to be served dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive – Afternoon boat cruise on the Nile – Night game drive experience safari

After breakfast, drive to the park for a morning game drive safari to see the park’s wildlife species. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, many antelopes, lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, and many others, plus bird species. After the game drive, return to the lodge to have lunch and go for an afternoon boat cruise on the river Nile that will take you upstream to the bottom of the falls. During the boat cruise, expect to see many aquatic species like the Nile crocodile, hippos, and many bird species. Following the boat ride, return to the lodge for some free time before being served dinner and then driving back to the park for a night game drive safari experience. The night game drive safari is so adventurous and opens up more chances to see nocturnal mammals and birds such as lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas, among others, because these are more active during the night hours and it is their best time to hunt. After the game drive, return to the lodge for an overnight.

Day 3: Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe airport

After breakfast, check out and have all your belonging parked in the car drive to the park for th last game drive and then drive to Masindi town to have lunch and later embark on your road drive back to Kampala. This will be the end of your Uganda Safari Murchison falls national.
